Forum Changes
« on: February 05, 2010, 07:35:16 PM »
Hello Everyone,

In an effort to combat spammers (which has become a chore lately), I have updated the forum to version 2.0. While this will help combat the spammers via new security features, the new software does come with many changes as many of you are probably aware of by now (things look different). These changes are pretty dramatic for those used to the old forum, but I'm confident once everyone gets used to these changes that they will be well received. While things look different the functionality of the forums remains very similar to the old 1.1 forum, though I do ask that all members take some time to familiarize yourselves with the new layouts.

Thanks and any questions feel free to ask me in private or use this thread.

Themes:

As you all may have noticed, the color scheme has changed dramatically from the old version of the forum. This is because the old themes used on the old software does not function correctly with the new software, as such everyones theme has been changed to this default one for now. In the future I will be creating new themes to work with the new 2.0 version of the software, but for now we will have to make due with this theme.

That would've been bad, though it would've been good for publicity.
